Course Objectives
By the end of this module, you should be able to
Work through each of the sections at your own pace. Try to spend an hour a day reading the material, and doing any exercises involved. The entire course takes about 100 hours of work. Try these assignments during the course.
To do the exercises, such as writing shell scripts and using awk will require access to a UNIX system. We currently do not provide this service. We strongly recommend that you download a free copy of the Linux operating system from the Internet and install this on a computer in order to do the practical exercises. We offer no assistance in this area.
